Creating a Slideshow
Believe it or not, creating a slideshow is as easy as logging in, and adding a photo or youtube or blip.tv video and a small amount of text!
Customer Provides List of Categories
When you purchase a slideshow, you will be asked to provide a list of categories that will be used to retrieve the right photos or videos for placement of slideshows on your site. Using the categories allows you to select the right photos or videos for each slideshow. From there, you will use the drupal block system to place the individual slideshows on the appropriate page or pages in your site.
So, for example, you might provide the following list of categories:
- video_product
- video_archive
- news_company
- news_products
- screenshot_slideshows
Siteservants Creates Slideshow Blocks
Following your slideshow purchase, Using these categories, Siteservants would set up a series of query "Views" blocks which you could then place anywhere on your site. Each block would display a particular slideshow. Using the block system, you could use the block(s) to appear on specific pages throughout your site.
